  8. sometimes I can't fully appreciate what really good photographers can capture until I try to do it myself. Tonight the sky was blood red and I climbed a hill and took some pictures. On play back, there was only a rosy ribbon far off in the distance.

  9. Hiker: I was outside yesterday myself taking photos. It was red down toward the horizon with lots of yelllow above. You'll see them soon here.

    Isn't it a surprise to see a red sky? I never really saw the color until I began my series of pastels of skies.
