  1. My sister, Dixie Jane, who raised me from the age of eight was born on this day, June 7th, a long time ago. And died just days before her birthday a short time ago, now a year.
    She truly gave me the world and I miss all that we shared together.

  2. Shanna, I'm sad for your loss. I can't imagine how it feels, and though they say time heals all wounds, I don't know that it ever mends losing someone you love. These scenes you've captured are a beautiful tribute. Big hugs.
