SKIES OF THE ARROYO SECO
First begun as color studies for a painting using pastels, Shanna Galloway has developed a series of photographs of skies and clouds with their ever-changing and expressive colors.
I welcome your interpretations.

My sister, Dixie Jane, who raised me from the age of eight was born on this day, June 7th, a long time ago. And died just days before her birthday a short time ago, now a year.
ReplyDeleteShe truly gave me the world and I miss all that we shared together.
Shanna, I'm sad for your loss. I can't imagine how it feels, and though they say time heals all wounds, I don't know that it ever mends losing someone you love. These scenes you've captured are a beautiful tribute. Big hugs.
ReplyDeleteLets raise our glass to Dixie Jane. The maker and form(h)er of lovely women.
ReplyDeleteYes, she did. I miss her.
ReplyDeleteDon, I'm so glad you saw this post. Yes, I miss her too...and all that we shared
