The Wind Blew Away Many, Many Needles

Posted by Picasa

  1. I like these tree view shots!

  2. The wind was hard on the pines. Strangely enough, the loss of trees opened up vistas that I'm in awe of. I can now enjoy "Undeveloped" Debs park and the canyon (Pasadena Ave) that separates it from the Monterey Hills. I can see a glimpse of the gold line as it heads into the Arroyo. The ridge of the Monterey Hills behind Laurie.

I've gotten greedy for the view and am now trimming trees in my own yard to get more of them.
