SKIES OF THE ARROYO SECO
First begun as color studies for a painting using pastels, Shanna Galloway has developed a series of photographs of skies and clouds with their ever-changing and expressive colors.
I welcome your interpretations.
Leave a comment. I really appreciate them !
WOW - talk about golden moment
ReplyDeleteYES YES YES
ReplyDeleteI see this image as Taoist, that is...exhibiting a Yin/Yang sense of the interaction of opposites.
ReplyDeleteThe skies have been flat. That must be frustrating for you....but this is a nice comeback
ReplyDeleteyes
the golden hour (or less)
PasAdj: Yes, frustrating and downright depressing.
ReplyDeleteMore clouds, please.
The little girl said, "Lord, show me some skies worthy of an artist's pallette." And the Lord says, "It shall be done. Look to Shanna's blog." And there they were, in all their glory.
ReplyDeleteDixie Jane: Thank you!
ReplyDeleteWow, Eureka! Talk about finding Gold!
ReplyDeleteSG, I gotta copy this one! Ahem, I mean borrow.
Cafe: I'll be glad to get you a print of this one when I order one for myself. I like it too. But you may copy it in the mean-time.
ReplyDeleteHaven't been here for a while and thought I'd check in. The summer sky is treating you well.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you here, Margaret.
ReplyDeleteyes, I see the ying-yang imagery. would be fun to photoshop it in black and white.

This one really is spectacular. Love it.
ReplyDeletelaurie: Thanks! Good to see you here.
ReplyDeleteI wondered if you had found anything to look at sky-wise, lately. It's been pretty unrelenting out this way.
ReplyDeleteLaurie: Yeah!
ReplyDeleteHiker: No I haven't and I am getting quite upset.
Hey Shanna
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you got some photos off last night. I caught the tail end of the sunset, but was it ever intense. Victor claims to have seen a double rainbow on his way home from downtown
Pas Adj: Yeah - I'm finally working on a new post.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to give you a nice little plug on my latest post. Hope you don't mind!
ReplyDeleteBen: Great! I'm flattered..!
