SKIES OF THE ARROYO SECO
First begun as color studies for a painting using pastels, Shanna Galloway has developed a series of photographs of skies and clouds with their ever-changing and expressive colors.
I welcome your interpretations.
Leave a comment. I really appreciate them !

thank you for this day
Judy: Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGoing through your post and reading the interaction between sisters is as beautiful as the skies
ReplyDeletePasAdj: Thank you.
ReplyDeleteInteraction...yes, both visual and in the emerging dialogues...
Lovely progression. This last is my favorite. And PA's so right.
ReplyDeleteJean: Good to see you here. Progressions have been an ongoing interest for me. I see sadness in this one. Judy's words are lovely aren't they?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a woodblock print.
ReplyDeleteHiker: Good observation. It could easily be a woodblock print.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of ... a Dutch landscape.
ReplyDeletearf: Maybe I'll name it that.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely has a woodblock print vibe. Just came back to view some of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteVery nice per the norm!
ReplyDeleteBut, peak out your studio & notice the skies have changed a bit. They're a bit damp now.
Cafe: Okay...will do. I've been in Austin, where the temperature changed on Thanksgiving from 80 degrees to 40 degrees. I didn't get any photos of the sky though. I was busy drawing the swans...!...in the hotel lobby.
