  1. Your doing a good job with the digital camera. I'm enlarging the images in order to appreciate them more. Spectacular up close

  2. PasAdj: Yes, they look much like the real ones when enlarged. You can see the overlays of color and the stroke of the pastels. This one gets its intensity from the use of pure, dry pigment which I pushed into the paper.

They do look sharp up close. Amazing the difference tripod vs hand-held.

  4. PasAdj: Confession: I had some help photographing some of these, as my assistant has noted.

  6. I'm loving this so much. Sorry I missed these latest posts!!! I'm such a cloud nut (as you know) and this almost has a Texas sky feel to it.

  7. Laurie: Yeah, these do really look like the originals when enlarged, at least on my somewhat small screen.

Judy: This does look very Texas, though I did it right here.

  9. Hiker: Sky ocean. Great image!!! btw...I really like your new photo!

PasAdj: Occassionaly, anyway, though I could use a weekly one. I had one in my storefront studio on Figueroa and it really made a difference.

  12. The sky was amazing tonight, like two different worlds: Thundery to the east and calm to the west.
