He was a lovely guy. He knew everything about clouds, yet understanding their science never made him cynical to their poetry. He wrote a book about clouds, which he signed for me and J. It's one of our treasures.

ReplyDeleteyes, I can see why you would place this at the end of the series. It appears as if your looking out at the surface of the ocean and it's a shimmering blanket of gold
ReplyDeletePasadena Adjacent is right on with her description of your cloud picture as looking at the surface of the ocean. Add those buttermilk clouds and wow!
