First begun as color studies for a painting using pastels, Shanna Galloway has developed a series of photographs of skies and clouds with their ever-changing and expressive colors.

  1. I found this Robert Hughs quote that I thought you might appriciate

"Drawing never dies, it holds on by the skin of its teeth, because the hunger it satisfies – the desire for an active, investigative, manually vivid relation with the things we see and yearn to know about – is apparently immortal."

    1. That is a really great quote. Thank you so much...Funny - when I'm drawing in a Figure Drawing group I feel immortal, like I'm part of a history and a continuing thread.

  2. Pasadena Adjacent: Wordpress will not let me access your blog. I wonder what is going on.
