SKIES OF THE ARROYO SECO
First begun as color studies for a painting using pastels, Shanna Galloway has developed a series of photographs of skies and clouds with their ever-changing and expressive colors.
I welcome your interpretations.
Leave a comment. I really appreciate them !
Worthy of a Michealangelo. WOW

ReplyDeleteI thought this series looked sort of Hudson River School-ish at first http://www.albanyinstitute.org/education/Hudson%20River%20School/hrs.history.htm
ReplyDeletebut it's really a different look. What appeals to me most is that they don't look like photographs of skies to me but photographs of paintings.
I think I like this one the best.
