SKIES OF THE ARROYO SECO
First begun as color studies for a painting using pastels, Shanna Galloway has developed a series of photographs of skies and clouds with their ever-changing and expressive colors.

What I found interesting about this view was the contrast between the lighthearted, almost frivolous looking upper sky with its pale blue and its moon...and the heavy, ponderous clouds reflecting the intensity of the sun;
