SKIES OF THE ARROYO SECO
First begun as color studies for a painting using pastels, Shanna Galloway has developed a series of photographs of skies and clouds with their ever-changing and expressive colors.
I welcome your interpretations.
Leave a comment. I really appreciate them !
Like the transition between the groundless 1st photo w / full orange juice effect, to the final dark image with with a horizon and trees.
ReplyDeletearf: Thanks. I'm working on that sequential aspect.
ReplyDeleteI think (with a little bit of help from nature) you've pulled off the perfect cloud sequence. From full throttle to those final moments where the last bit of light slips into the inky void. Gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing. You really know how to make the most out of weather. Happy to see a new post from you.
ReplyDeleteOh, where has my head been -- not in the clouds. I'm so enjoying paging through these. And the swan finding flight -- oh well, you know...
ReplyDeleteBy the way, your sand bag idea is brilliant. You've got a convert.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Shanna
