Artist Shanna Galloway Documents The Changing Sky Outside Her Hillside Home/Studio

First begun as color studies for a painting using pastels, Shanna Galloway has developed a series of photographs of skies and clouds with their ever-changing and expressive colors.

I welcome your interpretations.

  1. This one reminds me of bone. A spinal column and a dash of iridescence. Might be my favorite in this group. I'd like to see it next to the woman's head but then again I do like it with the image above....(doesn't it drive you nuts when another artist comes in and tries to rearrange your work?)

  2. Sometimes it does make me nuts, but not this time. I am fond of hanging these as diptychs and triptychs and have been trying to get this one together with another one. I tried them in Picassa just now and they made a good (oh how modest)...great slideshow.
