Artist Shanna Galloway Documents The Changing Sky Outside Her Hillside Home/Studio

First begun as color studies for a painting using pastels, Shanna Galloway has developed a series of photographs of skies and clouds with their ever-changing and expressive colors.

I welcome your interpretations.

  1. The full God-Ray treatment, not seen so often in color. I saw the same sky coming up Avenue 64 several blocks away. Well, actually I had stopped at Hi-Ho Market for wine.

  2. and here we are back on terra firma and it is achingly beautiful

btw: I fear the vintage you picked up at the Hi-Ho, but then again, I guess your here to comment on it. I have been known to pick up a flask of Kentucky High Ten on occasion. I'm here too

  3. Golly, this was going on? I totally missed it. Or did you make it up?

  4. Make it up...wish I could!
arf! saw it too, so it must have really happened. It was within the last 2 weeks.

  5. Yeah, SG, you were playing God with the weather on this one?

  6. Cafe: Or would it have been Goddess? We'll have to check with Margaret on this.
