Artist Shanna Galloway Documents The Changing Sky Outside Her Hillside Home/Studio

First begun as color studies for a painting using pastels, Shanna Galloway has developed a series of photographs of skies and clouds with their ever-changing and expressive colors.

I welcome your interpretations.

  1. I love it when storm clouds give way to just that sliver of light that illuminates the edge as in this image. This may be my favorite in the group

  2. looks like Niagra Falls, framed dramatically. Not that I've _seen_ Niagra Falls, you understand. Had a chance once but veered north to Montreal instead. No regrets on that!

  3. Pas Adj: Yes, the sea parted.

arf! I think Montreal was the right choice.

  4. Cafe: Nice you stopped by again!

  5. It's as if the sky is opening up like a portal. I really like this one. :)
