SKIES OF THE ARROYO SECO
First begun as color studies for a painting using pastels, Shanna Galloway has developed a series of photographs of skies and clouds with their ever-changing and expressive colors.
I welcome your interpretations.

ReplyDeleteThese are simpler than your other skyviews but are just as fascinating.
ReplyDeletePasAdj: Great image! I wonder what that would sound like. Wouldn't it make a good CD cover for new age type nature music?
ReplyDeleteCafe: Glad you think so!

ReplyDeleteI love all of these in this series, Shanna. The staccato clouds definitely make me think of atonal music -- and that wash of gold is like a something traditional and baroque. Nice yin/yang thing going on here.
THANKS! Of course I love the music analogy.
