SKIES OF THE ARROYO SECO
First begun as color studies for a painting using pastels, Shanna Galloway has developed a series of photographs of skies and clouds with their ever-changing and expressive colors.
I welcome your interpretations.
Leave a comment. I really appreciate them !
Not sure why, but this one stood out to me for some reason. The clouds pop in this one.
ReplyDeleteDitto de BW! Although, i wouldn't use the word "pop", it's just something more with the sky.
ReplyDeleteThis one has a fish eye effect. The way earth looks from outer space.
ReplyDeleteBen, Cafe and Pasadjacent: Thanks. I do think you have something there, PA with the outer space comparison. Instead of continents and water, there are cloud shapes and water.
ReplyDeleteRight...my apologies for not getting back to you. I will..soon...I promise.
ReplyDeleteThis one stood out to me, too. Did you reverse the image or invert it? It has a surreal quality. I love it!
ReplyDeleteLaurie: This one was straight out the camera - no cropping or anything.
ReplyDeleteI feel like an astronaut reentering ... this one grabs me and gives me a little vertigo.
