First begun as color studies for a painting using pastels, Shanna Galloway has developed a series of photographs of skies and clouds with their ever-changing and expressive colors.

  1. I do like this less formal way of showing work. God bless the push pin!

I see more variation in your pastel skies which proves to me human observation still rules the day (or evening sky).
As an example I took photos of an unusual red sunrise the other day. I manipulated the exposures then took both images and blended them in Photoshop to get at some kind of likeness as to what I experienced.

  2. Pas.Adj.: Terrific! You are getting more of the experience of changing color and aliveness with the combination.

  3. These are extraordinarily beautiful, Shanna!

  4. Shell Sherree: Thank you so much. I appreciate your work very much, as well!
