Photograph of the Sky #4

Posted by Picasa

  1. SG, as wunderful as you sky shots have been, I xpect even better over the next 2 weeks!

  2. Cafe: I did, in fact get some of my best small pastels from the last El Nino.

  3. Ole buttermilk sky
I'm keeping my eye peeled on you
    What's the good word tonight
Are you gonna be mellow tonight?

    Ole buttermilk sky
Can't you see my little donkey and me?
We're as happy as a Christmas tree
Headed for the one I love

I knew at first sight that this was a Buttermilk Sky and Hoagy Carmichael's song came to mind. You know me, always got a tune in my back pocket.

  4. That term, Butermilk Sky, always comes to mind when I see that type of cloud - or clouds. I wonder if other pole know the term.

I didn't know the song though. Thanks!!!
