SKIES OF THE ARROYO SECO
First begun as color studies for a painting using pastels, Shanna Galloway has developed a series of photographs of skies and clouds with their ever-changing and expressive colors.
I welcome your interpretations.
Leave a comment. I really appreciate them !

ReplyDeleteSuddenly, I feel like eating some shrimp (w/gralic).
ReplyDeletebtw: this color of the blog background with the orange type face plays really well with your sky images. I wish more people who blog understood how jarring the use of black as a background can be.
ReplyDeleteooo more of the Maxfield Parrish vibe. why do I like this so much? but I'm not going to resist it, just enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteHiker, Cafe and arf!: I love putting people's imaginations to work. Thanks for your images!
ReplyDeletepasadjacent: Thank you! A real compliment from a fellow artist.
I'm still laughing about what AH said!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you get these terrific shots. Its like your sky is from a different part of the solar system.
ReplyDelete-K-: Thank you! I am rather spacey but, yeah my sky is from right here in L.A.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors of this one. Fabulous contrast of orange and blue.
