SKIES OF THE ARROYO SECO
First begun as color studies for a painting using pastels, Shanna Galloway has developed a series of photographs of skies and clouds with their ever-changing and expressive colors.
I welcome your interpretations.
Leave a comment. I really appreciate them !
If Moses were about to part the sky, he'd start here. I like the division with the sky in between. VERY COOL!!!!
ReplyDeleteI sea what you mean. Almost looks like a cross suspended in the clouds!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Judy and Cafe. I really did have something in mind with this photo, which is a variation on an earlier one which I called "Touch". I think you are both getting it! In my mind was Michaelangelo's "Creation of Adam" - or some kind of meeting between Heaven and Earth with that magic connection across the vertical division.
ReplyDeleteI think it's a keyhole through which we can view the universe ... or thru which the Universe can espie us.
ReplyDeleteI was in Santa Barbara yesterday and saw some massive thunderheads coming over the mountain. Made me think of you.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful. Creation -- FLASH! And you captured it.
